Man phoned family to say he couldn't see Yr Wyddfa path before tragedy struck

John Aravinth, 20, was walking on the Llanberis Path on Monday, May 26 when he made the call to say he couldn't see the path.

The medical student, of College Road, Southwater, Horsham, West Sussex, had been walking up Wales' highest peak with his family.

During the opening of an inquest in Caernarfon yesterday, assistant coroner Sarah Riley said the family decided to walk up the Llanberis Path.
