Kieffer closing in on move to the Racecourse

WREXHAM have finalised a move to sign Wales and Sheffield United striker Kieffer Moore in a deal worth £2million, it’s been reported.

The imminent announcement of the 32-year-old’s switch to the Racecourse Ground follows a successful medical over the weekend.

According to talkSPORT, all parties have agreed to the transfer, which will make Moore Wrexham's eighth summer signing.

Last season, he netted six goals in 30 matches for the Blades in the second tier, narrowly missing out on Premier League promotion after a playoff final defeat to Sunderland.

The Red Dragons have been very active in the transfer market as they gear up for Championship football.

Earlier in the window, the club was rumoured to be making an audacious attempt to snare Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy.
