NO PROSPECT OF REHABILITATION, SAYS JUDGE AS HE JAILS 41-YR-OLD FOR SHOCKING STRING OF INCIDENTS

- By DAVID POWELL

Father's eight assaults on his teenage daughters included throwing a baby gate at one

A MAN assaulted his teenage daughters eight times, including with a baby gate.

Ricky Richardson was said to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the incidents.

The 41-year-old also threatened to kill one of his daughter's friends.

A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court said there was no prospect of rehabilitation.

Father-of-three Richardson, of Denbigh Road, Mold, admitted a string of offences against his daughters, aged 19 and 18, from April 2023, and the friend, Ellie Condron.

He was jailed for a total of three years.

The court heard the defendant became "violent and unpredictable" while under the influence of drugs.

One asked him to leave her flat but instead he would fetch a knife and put it on his own stomach or neck.
