WREXHAM SCHEME AT TESCO EXTRA PART OF MCDONALD'S £1BN EXPANSION
FAST food giant McDonald's wants to build a drive-thru restaurant in the car park of a Tesco store.
McDonald's last year said it plans to open over 200 restaurants across the UK and Ireland by 2028 in a £1bn expansion drive.
Target sites for drive-thru locations included supermarket car parks. Now a proposal has been lodged for a Tesco store in North Wales.
This is for the Tesco Extra store on Crescent Road in Wrexham. They said it would be on an “underused area of Tesco car park”.
