ABERSOCH SEES SECOND LUXURY BOAT STRANDING

A second luxury boat has become stranded in the Abersoch area in a little over a day. Residents in the Gwynedd resort woke up yesterday to find a 27ft speedboat high up on the main beach.

It was perched on the sand in front of Abersoch’s infamous beach huts, many of which are owned by people wealthy enough to afford the super sleek Saxdor 270.
Online, it was claimed the vessel drifted onto the beach last night after running out of fuel. Stranded on hard sand, with a 4.78-metre high tide at 11.26am, it was hoped the boat could be refloated yesterday morning.
