Last year, Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission merged to form the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority (KZNTAFA). This integration will streamline the process of attracting major film productions; unlocking a new era of growth and innovation for both the tourism and film industries in the province. It will also enhance institutional efficiency and significantly strengthen the province's positioning as a premier destination for filmmakers and travellers alike. Moreover, it will create an inclusive and competitive KZN film industry that is a catalyst for economic growth and job creation.
