CAF celebrates dynamic expansion with 16 teams for Wafcon

SHOWING a proactive approach, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the expansion of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) from 12 to 16 teams, set to debut at its 16th edition in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April 2026.
BANYANA Banyana celebrate qualification for the 2026 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where they will aim to defend their continental crown and build on their 2022 triumph.
