YAPP GIVES INSIDE EDGE TO AUSSIES

RED ROSE legend Sarah Hunter has warned England to beware of Australia’s inside knowledge ahead of today's Pool A clash in Brighton.

The Wallaroos are headed up by former England scrumhalf Jo Yapp (above), who has coached 13 of the 23 home matchday squad players at England Under-20s or club level earlier in their careers.

Yapp took the Aussie job in 2024 after her Professional Women's Rugby club Worcester went bust a year earlier but will head home after this World Cup.

The likes of Saracens fly-half Zoe Harrison and wing Abby Dow, gunning for her 50th international try today, have been trained by Yapp in the past.
