FLEETWOOD MAC ON SONG Rory Mcllroy hugs pal Tommy after emphatic early victory
LUKE DONALD'S Team Europe got off to a flying start by winning the first three foursomes at the Ryder Cup.
But the American crowd was not totally silenced - and Bob MacIntyre was heckled on his backswing on the 17th tee as the USA finally got a point.
Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm beat Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas 4&3 in the opening match. Then Ludvig Aberg and Matt Fitzpatrick thrashed world No.1 Scottie Scheffler and world No.3 Russell Henley 5&3.
And Fleetwood Mac - Tommy Fleetwood and Rory Mcllroy (circle) - reformed to beat Collin Morikawa and Harris English 5&4.
