We'll fight to get workers' bill into law

BUSINESS Secretary Peter Kyle last night urged peers to ditch efforts to water down workers’ rights reforms.

The forward-thinking Employment Rights Bill is locked in a battle between the Commons and the Lords as Tories and Lib Dems attempt to amend the legislation.

And Mr Kyle told the Mirror: "This will be a landmark law that drags Britain's outdated workplace rights into the 21st Century and gives every worker the protections they deserve.
