We need truth on Letby case

LUCY Letby was found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill seven more. BBC Panorama's programme Lucy Letby: Who to Believe? looked at how events unfolded and why it took more than a year to stop her. ITV's Lucy Letby: Beyond Reasonable Doubt? investigated the evidence as her legal team pursued an appeal. You say...

LUCY Letby has attracted an awful lot of attention. The coverage is almost cult-like, exploring whether she is the victim of a miscarriage of justice.

And while I believe that everyone is entitled to a fair trial, I'm surprised that many of her supporters argue for her innocence simply because her appearance does not fit the typical profile of a criminal.

I believe there are far more deserving cases that fail to receive the same level of attention, such as the Orgreave miners, the Windrush scandal, and Grenfell Tower, for starters.

How much money has been spent on this case already? There is obviously a good argument for a thorough review.

I am shocked that two previous attempts to appeal failed, despite some compelling arguments about why one should go ahead.
