Inside home where bodies of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy were found.... with dog still guarding her

JARRING bodycam footage has revealed the grim scene inside the home of Gene Hackman and his wife when authorities discovered their partially mummified bodies.

The images provide a disturbing window into the reclusive couple's final days amid cluttered rooms, scattered clothing and neglected food, as Betsy Arakawa, 65, tried to care for her ailing 95-year-old husband.

Their bodies were found in separate rooms within the sprawling home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In one heartbreaking image, one of their dogs can be seen loyally lying near Arakawa's blurred-out body. Another dog was found dead and another safely recovered.
