TO A TV LEGEND RIP the clean Queen

QUEEN of clean Kim Woodburn, who endured an abusive childhood to become a charismatic figure and outspoken personality on our TV screens, has died at the age of 83.

The star rose to fame on How Clean Is Your House? before memorable turns on hit reality shows including I'm A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother.

A statement from her management said: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.

image"Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person.

"Her husband, Peter, is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.

"We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve."

Her husband said: "My wonderful, beautiful Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love."

Kim became an overnight star alongside sidekick Aggie MacKenzie as they cleaned dirty homes, while sharing tips.

imageThe camp Channel 4 show, which ran from 2003 to 2009, often featured Kim scolding homeowners.

And she would have undoubtedly approved of Aggie's candid tribute.

BULLIED

Aggie said: "Kim was a tormented soul, but now she's finally at peace.
