Thousands join party as Reds seal 20th league title triumph
IT was 35 years ago today that Liverpool fans were last in Anfield to see their side win the English league title.
Now they've got back to where they once belonged - and they loved it, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Thousands of Scousers - and a fair few day trippers - painted the city red yesterday after a 5-1 thrashing of Tottenham confirmed their record-equalling 20th title.
They last won English football's top prize in 2020, when fans were banned from stadiums due to Covid.
It means the last celebration like it was on April 28, 1990, when a win over QPR clinched the title.
