With this bling

- BY ZOE DELANEY

AS they announced their engagement, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce told thrilled fans "your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married".

But with an estimated combined fortune of £1.3billion, the mega stars surely won't be planning their nuptials on a teacher's budget.

The Shake It Off hitmaker, 35, was sporting a huge sparkler when she and NFL star Travis, also 35, announced their news on Tuesday. And in photos they shared with fans, it appeared Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis - worth an estimated £52m, according to Forbes - spent more than a pretty penny on the flowers for his proposal.

With Taylor being the world's richest female musician with a fortune of £1.2bn, it's clear the couple have the resources to turn their special day into one of the most expensive celebrity weddings of all time.

Here we take a look at what the bill might come to...

Wedding flowers £200k

Going by the lavish display Travis organised before he got down on one knee, Taylor's special day will be filled with expensive blooms and bouquets.

Florist Ashley Greer, owner of the Washington DC-based Atelier Ashley Flowers, thinks the proposal backdrop was constructed of 800lbs of greenery, 1,200 roses and at least 1,000 other flowers, costing up to £29,000.

Taylor's old foes Kim Kardashian and Kanye West allegedly spent £100,000 on a wall of flowers at their 2014 wedding so the star could be keen to one up them again by taking her floral features to a new level (and ensuring her marriage lasts longer than theirs did).

Wedding cake £20k

Thanks to her music videos, we know Taylor is fond of an elaborate, multi-tiered wedding cake, like the giant one in I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version).
