Bravery of teenager and pal Rob inspires Kev's epic run

KEVIN Sinfield says his incredible ultramarathon challenge is being inspired by the bravery of a schoolboy who lost his life to motor neurone disease.

The rugby league legend said the only "difficult spot" he has had on his astonishing seven-day fundraiser was meeting the family of Kyle Sieniawski, whose death at just 14 last month made him the youngest victim of the killer disease.

Kevin, 45, sat with Kyle's family, from Pontypridd, South Wales, in an emotional encounter during his charity fundraising bid to run an ultramarathon of at least 27.9 miles each day.

And yesterday, as he smashed his £777,777.777 target with two days of the epic challenge still to go, he said: "Because of the support we've had, there hasn't been a dark spot.
