Star joined fundraiser to save little Ollie

A BABY has had a lifesaving heart operation in the US after his mum was backed by Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds.

One-year-old Ollie Roberts was born with a complex heart defect and British surgeons told mum Jasmin they could not operate.

But the determined 24-year-old launched a £1.5million fundraising campaign to get him vital treatment 5,300 miles away in California.

And she received a £10,000 donation from Deadpool actor Reynolds for Ollie to have the 11-hour procedure at Stanford Children's Hospital.
