Russia: Putin has no plan to meet up

Peace hopes blow as North Korea hails soldiers who fought Ukraine

VLADIMIR Putin has no plans for a war summit with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, a top Russian diplomat said.

US President Donald Trump said he had begun arrangements for the pair to sit down together, but foreign minister Sergey Lavrov insisted: "There's no meeting planned." Lavrov added Putin will only meet the Ukrainian president once key issues have been worked out by officials.
