I'VE advocated previously for United sticking with Amorim and it's clear their issues go beyond their head coach.

Yes, he was dealt a tough hand. But he's shown little to suggest that he is the right man - and he is absolutely killing himself with his refusal to adapt.

The fact is Amorim and United are simply not working and a change needs to be made sooner rather than later.

AFTER backing Amorim in the summer, it would be rash to act now, but something has to change.

The problem he has is he is selecting individuals who either don't fit the roles or just aren't up to scratch. If he continues to play Bruno Fernandes (right) out of position and leave his defence exposed by the lack of midfield, he could be made to pay for it.
