Roo: No excuses left, Art
Daily Mirror UK
|October 28, 2025
WAYNE ROONEY says Arsenal have “no excuse” for not winning the title this season and that Mikel Arteta faces the sack if they don't.
The Gunners have gone unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions, opening up a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
And Arteta's men have also established an edge over their traditional title rivals - six points ahead of Manchester City, and seven better off than defending champions Liverpool.
Arsenal have not won the league since 2004, and the pressure on Arteta to deliver is growing.
