Robberies with knife and drugs crime fall

KNIFE-POINT robberies in the worst-hit areas and county lines drug crime are both down.
The Home Office reports robberies using a knife fell from 16,067 to 13,633 over the 12 months to June.
The 15% fall comes as the government's Knife-Enabled Robbery Task-force, launched in October, focuses on the seven worst-affected areas.
These include British Transport Police jurisdiction, London, West Yorkshire Greater Manchester and West Midlands.
