Police officer shot prisoner 'after seeing empty hand'

A FIREARMS officer shot dead an escaping prisoner despite seeing his hand was empty, a misconduct hearing has been told.
Jermaine Baker, 28, was shot as police foiled a plot to snatch two prisoners from a prison van in 2015.
