'No stone unturned' for murder appeal

Criminal reviewers probing safety of postmaster's 2011 wife kill conviction

A POSTMASTER convicted of murdering his wife is to have his case reexamined, it is now confirmed.

The Criminal Cases Review Commission says it is looking into the evidence against Robin Garbutt, who was found guilty of killing Diana in 2011.

The CCRC said: "We can confirm that the application for a review of his conviction is being actively pursued by a newly appointed case review manager who is leaving no stone unturned in exploring whether Mr Garbutt may have suffered a miscarriage of justice."
