No drought about Mikel trophy hope

MIKEL ARTETA insists Arsenal are determined to end their trophy drought by going all the way in the Carabao Cup.

And when quizzed on how important the League Cup - which they have not won since 1993 - remains, Arteta said: "It's a competition that we haven't won for many, many years, and it has to start now.

"We have to do a great game in order to be able to beat a very good Brighton side." Fabian Hurzeler's side, who put six past Barnsley to reach the fourth round, have impressed Arteta.
