MAKE it a good Night in the Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes.
It's going to be fast and furious in the premier 5f sprint of the season and the Karl Burke-trained NIGHT RAIDER (3.35) hasn't had many goes at the minimum distance.
He even ran in the 2,000 Guineas last year but I've no doubt he has the speed for this trip.
It could well be the making of him if his third in the Group 2 Duke of York Stakes over 6f at this track in May is anything to go by.
He showed stacks of pace to lead the field for much of the race but just didn't get home.
It was a performance that screamed of a horse needing to drop in distance.
