OISIN MURPHY yesterday recorded his first Group 1 win since he was convicted of drink-driving, 24 hours after a near-miss in the King George.
The four-time champion jockey, beaten on Kalpana by Calandagan at Ascot on Saturday, travelled to Germany where he steered the Saeed Bin Suroor-trained Tornado Alert to victory in the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis in Munich.
