THE paedophile suspected of killing Madeleine McCann is expected to beg a judge not to impose restrictions on him when he is freed from jail.

Christian Brueckner, 48, who is suspected of snatching and killing the British toddler in May 2007 in Portugal, is due to be released next month.

Prosecutors had hoped to charge him over three-year-old Madeleine's disappearance before the end of his seven-year rape sentence.
