SIGNS OF 'GREEN SHOOTS' SAYS BOSS

ASDA'S boss has admitted the supermarket still has a “long way to go” to revive its fortunes.
But Allan Leighton - who recently rejoined the third largest grocery chain after more than 20 years - insisted it is showing “green shoots”.
The retailer, owned by US private equity firm TDR Capital and petrol forecourt billionaire Mohsin Issa, previously said it could take three to five years to get fully back on track.
