PRINCE William revealed his wife Kate is coping well with her cancer treatment, as Prince Harry and Meghan kicked off a tour in Nigeria.
William, 41, reassured well-wishers on a solo trip to the Scilly Isles when he was asked about the Princess of Wales, 42.
Yesterday, he visited the islands' only hospital to learn about a health and social care facility being built.
Tracy Smith, administrator at St Mary's Community Hospital in Hugh Town, said: "I asked William about his wife Kate and he said, 'She's doing well, thanks"." He used a spade to break ground for the project, being built on adjacent land. The islands are part of his Duchy of Cornwall estate.
William was also given a get well soon card for Kate, who announced her diagnosis in a video in March, and King Charles, who is also having cancer treatment.
Matron Lynda McHale said: "It was a card from my granddaughter who wanted to wish his father and wife get well soon"."
