ISRAEL pounded Gaza with fresh airstrikes after claiming two soldiers were killed in an attack by Hamas.

Fighting flared in southern Gaza yesterday morning, when Israeli troops said they were targeted by the terrorist group in a “bold violation” of the truce.

The Israel Defense Forces said “terrorists fired an antitank missile and gunfire toward IDF troops’ in the Rafah area.

Two soldiers on an excavator were killed by the RPG and three others were injured in sniper fire after the terrorist cell apparently emerged from a tunnel and opened fire.
