MORE water companies are threatening hosepipe bans in the parched UK - and they could last till winter.
And two firms, Thames and Southern, urge customers to turn off the tap when brushing teeth and to take shorter showers.
Yorkshire Water has already slapped a hosepipe ban on families from tomorrow.
