THE phrase “national treasure” is thrown around an awful lot, but in this case it could not be more apt. I grew up watching reruns of ‘The Good Life with my mum, dad and sister - it always made us laugh so much. One of the best shows ever made, and one of the best actresses this country has ever had.

Sad to hear actress Penelope Keith has died. She was extremely talented in The Avengers and To The Manor Born, but will always be remembered for playing pompous Margo Leadbetter in The Good Life. Thanks for all the laughs, Penny.
