Family united in love

Many of us may wonder how we will react when the time comes to face our own mortality.

For the Princess of Wales, that moment came in February when, following abdominal surgery that required a two-week stay in hospital, doctors revealed cancer had been found in her body.

At the age of just 42, a mother of three young children was thrust into an unknown world - one which held no respect for her role as our future queen.

In March, after careful consideration, she told the world of her diagnosis in a moving statement.

In it, she spoke candidly about how she and Prince William had contemplated how they would tell their children of her diagnosis.

How fitting then, that in this latest personal update, we witness the warmth of a family united in love and positivity, which Kate says has been the foundation for the strength and courage she has needed during her treatment.
