Ex-BBC radio star accused of attacking seven women

FORMER BBC DJ Tim Westwood has been charged with raping and sexually assaulting seven women and girls over a 33-year period.

The ex-Radio 1 presenter is accused of attacking the alleged victims, some as young as 17, between 1983 and 2016.

The 68-year-old is charged with four counts of rape, nine of indecent assault and two of sexual assault, the Met Police said yesterday.

Westwood, of Westminster, Central London, is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on November 10.
