ENGLAND'S new German football manager yesterday said Auf Wiedersehen to his mother tongue.

Thomas Tuchel refused to speak German “out of respect” as he unveiled his first squad at a press conference.

The ex-Chelsea manager had been asked to answer a question in both English and his native language by a German TV reporter.

He nervously glanced at an aide from the FA, before replying: “I would like to do it just in English out of respect for where we are and the others [in the room]”.
