Men accused of smuggling £300k haul from Spain

- BY DAN WARBURTON and ANDREA DIXON

IN orange prison clothes and with fear etched on their faces, two Brits facing the death penalty in Bali over a £300,000 drugs smuggling plot are paraded in front of photographers.

Landscape gardener Kial Robinson, 29, and property manager Piran Ezra Wilkinson, 48, were pictured shackled with other inmates after police claimed to have intercepted 1.3kg of cocaine.

Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency officials claim Robinson flew into Bali on September 3 with drugs in his backpack.

He allegedly told police he was offered £3,600 to smuggle the drugs, worth £300,000, on a Turkish Airlines flight from Barcelona.

Police set up a sting operation the next day and ordered Robinson to go ahead with the planned delivery.

They arrived at the Angin Sepoi villa at 2.30am, where Wilkinson was arrested.
