RUBEN AMORIM admits he has questioned his decision to take the Manchester United job mid-season.

Amorim was keen to postpone his move from Sporting Lisbon to Old Trafford when he held negotiations with United bosses last November.

The Portuguese wanted to begin his reign ahead of a next season and with new signings, instead of in the middle of a campaign.

And in the wake of his woeful first few months in charge, Amorim admits he might have made a mistake.

United have won just four of 14 league games since he replaced Erik ten Hag.
