Dad 'waited at grave to stab his ex'

A FATHER who blamed his ex-wife for their son's suicide stabbed her to death with a kitchen knife at their boy's graveside, a court has heard.

Martin Suter, 68, lay in wait for Ann Blackwood, 71, then stabbed her in the back and neck, the court was told.

It heard Suter had predicted Ms Blackwood would go to the cemetery in Stubbington, Hants, on July 24, 2023, as it would have been the 36th birthday of son Christopher, who killed himself in 2003. The couple divorced in 2004.
