SCOTT CURRIE has been drafted into the England squad for the first time after Saqib Mahmood was ruled out of this week's T20 trip to Ireland with a knee injury.
In March last year, Hampshire fast-bowler Currie earned three ODI caps for Scotland, qualifying through his father who was born there.
