Veteran actor, 93, spills beans

SOAP legend Bill Roache spilled royal tales and Coronation Street secrets live on stage at the weekend.

The veteran actor, 93, who has played Ken Barlow since 1960, revealed the ITV show has the royal seal of approval, during the An Audience With event.

When asked about Queen Camilla, who pulled a pint at the Rovers Return during a 2010 set visit, he said: "The royals are fans of the show.
