'Indecent images and voyeurism'
PILOT Beckwith in role
A POLICE officer who supported the family of Claudia Lawrence after she vanished has been charged with possessing indecent images of children.
Paul Beckwith was a PC when he sat beside the late Peter Lawrence as he appealed for information about his missing daughter, five days after she disappeared in 2009.
Beckwith, 53, was this week charged with three counts of possessing indecent images of children and five counts of voyeurism.
The allegations are not said to be connected to his career in the police.
