Relaxed Amorim's all smiles as United boss hopes to salvage disastrous season and reign in Spain

- FROM DAVID MCDONNELL

THE contrast between the two managers could not have been greater ahead of tonight's winner-takes-all Europa League final showdown.

While Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou scowled and tried to settle scores over perceived insults, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim cut a relaxed figure.

If Amorim was feeling the pressure ahead of tonight's £100 million all-or-nothing clash in Bilbao, the United boss did not show it and nor did his inspirational captain Bruno Fernandes.

When asked why he felt he is not under the same pressure as Postecoglou, despite their sides being just a point and a place apart in the Premier League, the United boss was interrupted by his skipper.

"He is! Who told you he isn't, because he is!" said a smiling Fernandes, who dissolved into laughter at the cheeky response.

"He wants my job!" was Amorim's retort. "He'll be a very very good coach. But he has to work on his mindset. He doesn't know how to deal with people!"
