£4.8m gold toilet raiders guilty of heist at palace

TWO raiders have been convicted over the theft of a £4.8million golden toilet that was snatched from Blenheim Palace.

Michael Jones, 39, was found guilty of burglary at Oxford crown court, while Fred Doe, 36, was convicted of trying to sell the stolen gold.

They face years behind bars alongside James Sheen, 40, who had already pleaded guilty to burglary at an earlier hearing.
