WELL done for highlighting the other side of this migrant crisis (Mirror, 21 August) and giving a voice to an actual asylum seeker and his ongoing fear of living in a hotel in Britain. He has justifiable fears of violence and hostility towards him and many like him.
Leaders of political parties need to be responsible for their own rhetoric and actions, in this regard. This is tragic for these people, who were led to believe they stood a real chance of rebuilding their lives, free from war, horrendous conflicts and poverty and stricken countries.
It is a complex issue, no one denies that but to treat men, women and children in this way surely does not sit well with the majority of British people.
