Sri Lanka rushes player selections ahead of netball Youth World Cup

The Ministry of Sports has instructed the netball Selection Committee to immediately hold trials for the upcoming 2025 World Youth Netball Cup in Gibraltar from September 19-28, organized by the International Netball Federation.
Sri Lanka qualified for the event from the Asian region after finishing third in the 12th Asian Youth Netball Championship held in South Korea in 2023.
Accordingly, the Netball Selection Committee has already arranged to conduct the trials on August 19 at 8:00 am at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.
