In a strategic move to bolster its retail arm, Softlogic Holdings PLC has announced the appointment of Terry O'Connor as the new Chief Executive Officer of Glomark, with immediate effect.

The decision comes at a pivotal moment for Sri Lanka’s retail sector, which recently saw the entry of a major new player.
The announcement, made in a letter to business partners on October 23rd, positions O'Connor to lead Glomark through the crucial festive season and beyond.
He brings to the role extensive international retail experience and a proven track record from his current position as CEO of Odel, another key brand within the Softlogic consumer portfolio.
