Pharmaceutical Society of Sri Lanka Elevates Standards at AGM and Scientific Sessions 2025

The Pharmaceutical Society of Sri Lanka (PSSL) held its premier annual event—the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Sessions 2025—on 29th June at Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla.

The event brought together national and international pharmacy leaders, professionals, academics, researchers, and students for a vibrant exchange of ideas to advance pharmacy practice in Sri Lanka.

Under the leadership of Mr. Priyantha Sahabandu, PSSL President, and the PSSL Council, the event marked a key milestone in promoting excellence, innovation, and collaboration in the pharmaceutical field.

AGM: Leadership and Strategic Direction

The AGM, chaired by Mr. Sahabandu, began at 9:00 a.m. with Society members discussing past achievements and future goals. A major highlight was the reappointment of Mr. Sahabandu as President for a second term, ensuring continuity and progress in strategic initiatives.

Scientific Sessions 2025: Driving Global Dialogue and Innovation

The Scientific Sessions followed, offering a full-day academic and professional programme with active participation from global and local stakeholders.
