March 26, 2026

MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka's largest apparel manufacturer, announced that two of its subsidiaries—Texco Ltd., a cotton fabric processing mill, and Noyon Lanka, a knitted lace manufacturer—have have officially become bluesign System Partners, marking a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to responsible, future-ready manufacturing.

With these two facilities achieving bluesign System Partner status, 75% of MAS's wet processing facilities are now aligned with the highest compliance standard available for responsible chemical management, supporting the company’s Plan for Change 2030 sustainability roadmap.

Becoming a bluesign System Partner involves significant commitment and investment to align a facility's processes and operational standards to some of the highest available global benchmarks. The designation follows comprehensive independent assessments by bluesign technologies, which evaluates production processes, including knitting, dyeing, finishing, scouring, extrusion and laminating, against strict environmental, health, and safety criteria.
