Team NKAR marks 45 years with charity cycling event in Colombo

MORE than 60 cyclists from NKAR Travels and Tours Ltd. took to the streets of Colombo on 29 June, for a 20km charity cycling event to mark the company’s 45th anniversary.

The group, including team members, industry partners, and an international participant, rode through the city in branded NKAR T-shirts, passing several well-known landmarks as part of the initiative. Titled the “Charity Challenge by Team NKAR,” the event was organised as a way to blend celebration with social purpose. The idea was initiated by NKAR’s Chairman and Managing Director Nilmin Nanayakkara, and coordinated by the company’s staff.
