Sajith says Opposition will back Grade 6 reforms if properly implemented

OPPOSITION Leader Sajith Premadasa yesterday said that he would extend his full support to the proposed education reforms if they are implemented in a proper and effective manner.

He said a large number of children have been adversely affected by the failure to proceed with the proposed reforms at Grade 6 level, noting that expectations among students and parents had been undermined by the decision to postpone their implementation.
